Dr. Hemani Sharma is Consultant General Paediatrician and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.  She completed her general paediatric training at the Children’s hospital at Westmead and worked as a general paediatric fellow at Royal North Shore Hospital and Nepean Hospital. She is currently working as a visiting Paediatrician at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Blacktown/Mt Druitt Hospitals. Hemani has also completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) and worked as a Physiotherapist in various Sydney hospitals prior to her medical degree.

Hemani has clinical expertise in a variety of conditions affecting children from the newborn age to adolescence. She has a special interest in developmental, behavioural, and nutritional disorders. Hemani adopts a holistic, family centered approach informed by evidence based best practice.  

When not working, Hemani enjoys dancing, keeping fit and spending time with her two girls.
