Dr. Misha Sahu is a Consultant Paediatrician with a breadth of local and international experience. She is an advocate for maintaining healthy lifestyles adopting evidence-based methods, and enjoys supporting and educating families as they navigate the joys and challenges of parenthood.
Dr. Sahu cares for patients from the newborn stage, encompassing growth, development and the management of simple and complex childhood illnesses.
Dr. Sahu treats babies to adolescents with an interest in:
- Newborn baby care
- Sleep and settling
- Infant wellness checks for feeding and growth
- Infant gastro-oesophageal reflux
- Asthma and allergy
- Constipation and abdominal pain
- Rashes.
- Travel medicine and vaccination advice.
Upon graduating with Honours from The University of New South Wales, Dr. Sahu completed her Fellowship with The Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Her early paediatric experience was gained at The Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network. Dr. Sahu then worked in hospitals and private clinics in the expat hub of Dubai, UAE, for ten years, gaining vast experience in treating children and families from diverse backgrounds and cultural expectations.
When not working, Dr. Sahu enjoys being a mum herself, spending time with family who share her passion for travel.
